  • LSVT LOUD is an evidence-based speech treatment designed to improve vocal loudness for individuals with Parkinson's disease and other neurological conditions. The protocol consists of 16 sessions delivered over four weeks, focusing on increasing vocal loudness through a series of exercises and drills. LSVT LOUD aims to recalibrate the sensorimotor system that controls voice production, leading to long-term improvements in vocal intensity, intonation, and articulation. This intensive therapy program involves high effort exercises that help individuals maintain their ability to communicate effectively and with confidence.

Hi! I'm Tracey. Since 2012, I've worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Central Michigan area. Most of my experience has been spent in the preschool through 12th grade setting, working with children ages 2-20 with a variety of communication needs. I have always enjoyed working with children and love working with families to incorporate language rich activities into home routines. I spent three and a half years as a medical Speech-Language Pathologist in inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation settings which has given me extensive experience with evaluating and treating aphasia, swallowing, and motor speech disorders in adults.

I believe in play-based, child led therapy for home sessions, and I strive to make therapy as fun as possible! Whether we are working on speech sounds, building language, or incorporating language rich activities into your home, we will always use fun and engaging activities to make the most of our time together. For adult clients, I believe in functional, client led therapy utilizing home or community settings.

As an educator, I've worked in the public school setting as both a direct therapist and as a collaborator with other professionals focused on optimal outcomes for students. I enjoy collaborating on educational teams to build capacity and knowledge in best practices.

Above everything else, I'm a mom of three adult children and "Mimi" to four beautiful grandchildren. My husband and I have lived in Central Michigan our entire lives. I graduated from Central Michigan University and love being a part of the Mount Pleasant community. In my free time, I love being outdoors, gardening, riding our motorcycle, listening to music, and enjoying time with family and friends. In addition to being a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, I also hold licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Michigan since 1996.
